Privacy notice
What we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
This website is run by We Build Software. You can contact us about your data at hello@webuildsoft.uk.
What we collect
When you send our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message, plus your phone number, business name and website if you give them. We also receive the date and time and your internet address, which we use to stop spam and abuse.
We use these details only to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to deliver the work you ask for. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Messages from the form are sent to us, with a copy to you, through an email delivery service. That service processes the message only to deliver it.
Analytics
We measure how this website is used with Wiztastic, our own analytics product. By default it doesn't set cookies, honours your browser's Do Not Track setting, and keeps its data in the UK. We use it to see which pages are useful and to find problems, not to build profiles of you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, and as long as the law requires for business records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@webuildsoft.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
